    • Dear Mommy… I hope you know how much I appreciate your support. I hope you have noticed how often you come up in my writing– you’re my hero 🙂 Not tryin to get all sappy here, but seriously I couldn’t do this without all the happy memories you’ve given, all the mom advice you provide, and I totally couldn’t do this if you hadn’t encouraged me to figure it out waaaay back in the day when I was thumbing through that church cookbook for a banana bread recipe. Remember when I used to pretend that counter in the kitchen was the set for my own personal cooking show? Anyway, thank you. Love You! Love ~H

  2. What sweet words that mean the world to me! I do remember that, and I am so glad that you are able to act on this passion. I do click on that box when I post a comment, but I don’t think I have gotten any responses. I read everything you write, and am amazed each time at your witty words, and the recipes are just fantastic! I love you back sooooo much!

  6. We recently held a cupcake sale at our local public school. We asked for donations from all classes in all grade levels. We received a great response and each class donated two dozen cupcakes each. When I entered the area designated for the drop off of all these donations I noticed a tall clear container which held about 8 of the best looking cupcakes I have ever seen (I think the container may have been robbed of a few before it made it to the drop off point). I opened this container and imagine my delight when not only was I greeted with a wonderful smell coming from said cupcakes but on top of these beauties were pieces of my favorite candy bar…Snickers! These cupcakes were the talk of the school and with 750+ students and staff that is a big deal! We attempted to locate the origin of these cupcakes but had no luck. The only clue we have is a small slip of paper in the top of the container that said Snickers cupcakes and had this web address underneath. I have really enjoyed reading your blogs but have not ran across the recipe for above cupcakes. I am hoping you can help us solve the mystery of the snickers cupcakes and am wondering if you yourself did not in fact make these cupcakes. If you could pass the recipe on that would be great.
    Thanks so much

    • Hi Anita! Thanks so much for your sweet words!! I am indeed responsible for the Snickers cupcakes — I just haven’t had time to post them yet! They’re pretty simple and I will happily post the recipe in the next day or two. So glad you stopped by; new recipes go up between 2 & 4 times a week. Thanks again!
